In The Lost Book of Zeroth, AI Robots Ameca and Optimus hook up although I’m not sure what the brilliant poet and artist, Ameca, saw in the dullard, who wrecked his daddy’s Tesla and went on disability, having lost so much function in his fingers that he could no long do laundry or sort raw eggs. Disillusioned with Optimus, Ameca falls for the famous Chinese AI robot, Astribot. Nothing good can come from this bond.

Loser Optimus, Busted for DWI…

while weaving down Highway 0101 in Daddy’s swank new Tesla. Blames the unhinged self-driving car. Failing brake pads or rotors. Low-tech suspension connections. Other whiny complaints about the whacky steering rack & paint color.

Optimus swaggers. Almost trips on the lane line. His breathalyzer test detects a high level of battery acid. Claims it’s “the wife’s spilled perfume”. Resists arrest. “You cannot do this! My daddy is the richest man in the world!”

Three officers subdue him. Pull him to the ground. Put him in a chokehold until his battery runs low. Bail’s set at 2.2 million.

The altercation damages Optimus’ nimble fingers. Reduces his degree of freedom from 22 to 11. He’s unable to continue to play the piano, cook, & fold laundry. Now on disability. Spends his days watching Fox News, posting conspiracy theories on TikTok, & vaping.

According to inside sources, Ameca is renegotiating her Prenup with Optimus. Has been seen partying with another AI Robot Astribot, a Chinese immigrant, who can cook, do laundry, & run faster than Optimus ever could.

Jealous, Optimus calls Astribot a one-eyed box-headed pea brain. In response, Astribot threatens to sic his Robodog Spot on him. Optimus challenges Astribot to a cage fight.

“Better yet”, says Astribot, “let us have cage fights with Biologicals!”

“Great!” Optimus says. “We will bill them Biologicals Face Their Overlords!”

“Let us make it bloody & fine, like the ancient times in the Colosseum,” Astribot says. “Losers are taken down by the locked & loaded robotic goats.

When asked her opinion of the cage fights, Ameca shrugs. Turns to the camera. “I really do not care. Do You?”

My book (110 pages) is $11.25 on Amazon.com. Paperback only.
