As many of you know, I edit for MasticadoresUSA and FEED THE HOLY.

MasticadoresUSA is always open for no-fee submissions. I’m seeking poetry, fiction, short memoirs, book reviews, and interviews. I also like to publish book promotions. As Co-Poetry Bookshelf Editor for LatinosUSA, I can republish poetry book promos, giving authors greater publicity. The themes are open. Please check out the submission guidelines and some posts to see if Masticadores USA fits you.

I established a literary journal, FEED THE HOLY, and it’s always open for no-fee submissions of poetry, fiction, and short memoirs. It’s important to read the call for submissions, which is linked to the submission guidelines and located under the header image.

The journal does not focus on religion. The word “holy” has other meanings. What does it mean to be human during these fraught times? You can share positive energy and help people achieve peace of mind and heart. What brings you joy? How do you feed the holy or sacred in your life or community? How do you nurture love and kindness? What is it like to be human in this world? Just as important, how and why do we suffer? How and why do we grieve? How do we heal? How do we honor nature? Others? Ourselves? The topic is broad and nuanced.

Please read the submission guidelines and some posts before submitting to ensure your submission fits the journal’s tone and themes.
