Greetings!
Thank you for viewing my posts. I am returning to my poetry writing and would like to share the poems with interested folks. Let me know how you like them. I am interested in self-publishing a book or e-book. Thank you for any feedback!
I started a poetry group called Poetry Speaks Your Soul. I have a Podbean poetry podcast called Poetry: The Memoir of Your Soul, found at https://meelosmom.podbean.com. Please check it out. I read some of my work and the works of other poets around themes, such as Grief, Kindness, Presence, and similar themes.
If you would like me to read one of your poems on my podcast, please send it to me in a Word document attached to an email along with any pertinent biographical information, especially if you have a book to promote. However, no prior publications are required to have me include one of your poems. My email address is meelosmom@gmail.com. In the subject line, state it is a submission for the poetry podcast.
I wrote a book related to my years of teaching writing to international students at The University of Missouri. It’s called Discoveries in Academic Writing, and it is still found on amazon.com.
I am also a huge fan of Tai Chi Chuan and Qigong. I’m learning Yang Style, Sun Style, and Chen Style forms. I’ve worked with sticks, swords, and fans, as well.
I’m a Usui Reiki Master, and I love treating people with Reiki and training those who want to complete one or more levels of training. I’m also a Karuna Reiki practitioner looking for a teacher to give me my master level training.
I’m married to a great guy. Dierik Leonhard, who is a fantastic musician, a master of Blugrass music, Cajun music, and Country music. He has taught many people of all ages to play banjo, fiddle, mandolin, and guitar. And he has a band that plays Blugrass (Ironweed Bluegrass Band), Cajun (Swampweed), and Country (Pigweed Vintage Country Band). I told him to form a rock bank called Weed! In fact, he is practicing rock fiddle tunes!
I’ve been writing since I was eight. It was always challenging to write, go to school, work, and be present to family. Now that I’ve retired and able to take advantage of the Internet and Microsoft Word, I can compile my poetry and other writings. I hope you enjoy my work!
I enjoyed your site. Hopeful and positive words. They are needed.

Hi, there! I loved your series of articles on PhoebeMD.com Great work, and such a powerful story! I’m launching an online mental health magazine/podcast for childless women. You can find it at http://www.pillbaby.com I was wondering if you would like to contribute. I’m just getting the site launched, but would love to have your words out there to share with readers! I would promote the post with a link back to your blog on social media.

Thank you! I will certainly submit. I do have another article, but I posted it a while back on WordPress. I’m not sure if you would consider it. I don’t think Phoebe linked her readers to it. https://extraordinarysunshineweaver.blog/2017/08/24/childless/

What I liked about the article on PhoebeMD was that it addresses both infertility and depression

Ok! I’ll see what I can do. What length? And do you want subheading like she does, or will an editor do all that?

Up to 2000 words is fine. Either you or I can put in subheadings, but if you would prefer to do that go ahead
