An Old Interview with KBIA

I ran across this interview with KBIA in which I tell how I came to be ‘adopted’ by a Chinese family and nurture my interest in Tai Chi.

I taught ESL (English as a Second Language) at the University of Missouri. Brendan (Shuangyuan’s English name) was one of my students. One day in class I mentioned Tai Chi, so this shy young man asked me after class if we could practice together. Little did I know that his dad was one of the top martial artists in a China and also one of the top chefs! I enjoyed so many of his amazing meals! Listen for the whole story. Enjoy!
