Hidden in Childhood – Full Cover Reveal and Preface — Short Prose

This highly anticipated anthology is ready to launch in late January 2023. I would like to share Gabriela Marie Milton’s post about the book and her preface. Clearly, this anthology is a major contribution to literature and society.

Her revelation that childhood never really ends is profound. That time is linear is an illusion and delusion. Our childhood is ever present. We are constantly engaged with our younger self, our inner wounded child. We walk with our inner child. The true landscape of our soul shadows our vision as life shatters us. Then scatters the pieces of our souls behind every tree and berry bush along the way into a spring meadow, where we invite these fragments back into our hearts. We can feel and hear these puzzle pieces snap into place. The journey to healing is the journey to survival and wholeness.

I’m certain the poetry in this anthology will be a source of healing not just for the poets themselves, but for all of us. Please read on….

I read your words and a thousand childhoods burrowed into my heart. Gabriela Marie Milton My Dear Readers Thank you to everyone who submitted to Literary Revelations Publishing House’s collection Hidden in Childhood: A Poetry Anthology, due to be released late January. If anything changes, I will let you know. I am thrilled to release…
