“Ode to a Yard” up on Collaborature!

Our small garden one year. Now due to all the shade in our yard, it’s very difficult to grow tomatoes. We get volunteer oregano and nettles.

Yongbo Ma an esteemed Chinese scholar and the most highly regarded poet in China, translated my poem “Ode to a Yard”, and our collaboration is up on Collaborature. Thank you so much, Editor, Melissa Lemay!

This doe has visited our patio for a couple of summers. A fawn showed up. Possibly hers. I was unable to snap a shot of it.
One year’s bounty of carrots. Delicious!
