Children’s Poems Up on Little Chews!

I’m delighted Nolcha Fox published my children’s poems for the Poetry Reading Project at a school for orphans in Kenya.

I shared the first poem in my recent post on my blog. Please follow this link to see the entire post on Little Chews, which Nolcha Fox edits on LatinosUSA. Little Chews will be exclusively featuring my series of poems for the Poetry Reading Project. I’m very grateful, Nolcha.

The first poem introduces Opossum and Otter. In the second poem, we learn that Opossum’s nickname is Muddy, and he is quite the character. Read on to see why. So far the poems are rhyming, but I may do some free verse, too.

Here is more about the Poetry Reading Project. If you are on Facebook, you can participate. See how to do that below. Donating is not required to participate, but the children are desperate for supplies, food, clothing, beds, and pretty much everything. I made a donation and will donate annually.
