Poem up on Hotel Masticadores!

Thank you, Michelle Ayon Navajas, for publishing “Birth Name”, a collaboration by Nolcha Fox and me.

Nolcha and I had fun spinning verses on Google Drive, responding to each other’s new verses daily for a period of time. Hope you like this poem!

Here is the start of the poem. Nolcha’s verses are regular font and mine are in italics.

Birth Name

I was born a fiction,

a death, a hardship,

a drowning, cholera,

thunder, hail, rain.

No wonder I catastrophize.

I’m a dream, as well.

Each day, two suns wake me.

A warm hearth and hot coals.

I survive with an umbrella

and ibuprofen. At times,

life support.

Like hot coffee and chocolate……….

You can find the rest of the poem in this link. Thank you for reading!

By the way, my book has received some more 5-star reviews on Amazon! I’m very excited and grateful!
